New position open in Warsaw & London - Join the L48 BESS team

Lower 48 Energy BESS (L48 BESS) Limited is seeking an Energy Engineer to spearhead the expansion of our renewable energy development business into the Polish market. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading engineering, project management, and site origination for BESS projects in Poland. This position will also involve supporting the management on day to day operation of the business and conducting due diligence on operational renewable energy projects. The role will be based in either London or Warsaw, Poland with focus entirely on Polish energy origination, and will require frequent travel between London and Poland.

The Executive Management Team have identified that there is an exciting opportunity to develop BESS projects in Poland. Poland is targeting 32% renewable energy by 2030 and in doing so is bringing online more energy storage to balance energy demand and supply and maintain grid stability as more renewable resources come online.

This is principally driven by the new hard energy border between Poland and Russia, and secondly driven by Poland’s real commitment to accelerating their Green Energy Generation particularly from Wind and Solar, underpinned by the Government’s “Polish Energy Transition Path". We believe that the Polish market represents an opportunity for Lower 48 to enter the European market at a comparable stage to where the UK BESS market was 4 or 5 years ago. We look forward to expanding our team with an experienced Energy Engineer and in doing so further internationalising our excellent talent base.
